…Chris submitted the EDC Bowie to The Martialist in the hope that the design would resonate with pragmatic students of self-defense. In this, he will not be disappointed, for the initial response to pre-publication photos was overwhelming.

Making a hand blender in the Peruvian Amazon

Dylan using one of his knives to make a hand blender in Awajún land, Peruvian Amazon.

He also taught some of the Awajún men how to best sharpen their knives. They invited him to do a workshop on the next trip, to teach them how to make their own custom knives that could last them a lifetime from old car parts and other reclaimed metals.
